Interview Barbora Miklova (english)

Our team had a chance to speak with Barbora Miklova (22yo), 603th player at the WTA ranking. Here is his interview.

"Can you introduce Yourself ?

My name is Barbora Miklová, I am 22 years old, I am profesional tennis player from Czech republik. My WTA rank is around 550. 

How did you discover tennis ?

My mom played tennis professionally so she took me with her and I was really good so I stayed play.

What do you do to stay in good shape during this period ?

I'm lucky to have a tennis court at home, I can train normally... sometimes I running and  I do some fitness.. 

In the czech republic the situation is better so you can play tennis.

What results are you most proud of ?

I finished 3 times first, 2 times second and 2 times third at the National championship.

I won 1 time the Europe championship.

But I am the most proud of my WTA rank... because it is amazing that I can play World tour ! 

and headed higher and higher!

I beat a lot of famous players from high positions... so I know that I could be there too.

Which player impressed you the most in the match ? Why ?

I really don't know, but I notice that it doesn't matter if the player is 200 or 900 WTA rank... everyone is fighting hard and they are hungry for victory.

What’s your favourite tournament ?

My favorite tournament is the Prague 60k, I've always played great, the tournament is very beautifully organized.

What is your main goal until the end of your carreer ?

Be still happy on the court !

But my dream is to play grandslams.

What would you do after your career? Coaching or anything else?

I don't know but I enjoy many other things.

What’s your best memories on court ?

I played a tournament in Bosnia and Herzegovina and I need ambulance after the quarterfinals... but next day I played semifinal and I won ... 

I was really proud of myself.

Do you want to add anything ?

That sport is the best school for life... everything what you do, do for yourself ... and most importantly, do everything with love and humility."
