Interview Evgeny Donskoy (english)

Our team had a chance to speak with Evgeny Donskoy (30yo), 115th player at the ATP ranking. Here is his interview.

"Can you introduce yourself ?

My name is Evgeny Donskoy. I am 115atp.

How did you discover tennis ?

My father bring me to this sport. Cause he liked this sport.  So that’s how I came to tennis.

What do you do to stay in good shape during this period ?

I think I do pretty much same as everyone.. running on the stairs in my building, making exercises at home for my core and legs and back.

What results are you most proud of ?

Am .. I am proud of my win against Federer. That’s best win I had.

Which player impressed you the most in the match ? Why ?

I really like Federer. His tennis is very beautiful and it’s a pleasure to watch it. His game has everything.. serves, aggressive tennis, volleys .. I like to watch it and it’s impressing me.

What’s your favourite tournament ?

My favorite tournament is Indian Wells.

What is your main goal until the end of your carreer ?

For now my goal is to become top 50 player and win an atp title.

What would you do after your career? Coaching or anything else?

I would like to do something else instead of coaching but it is not easy. Maybe I will be involved in tennis but not in coachway.

What’s your best memories on court ?

My best memories on court is win against Federer and also our win as a team in Davis cup tie against Spain .. it was like 4 or 5 years ago."
